Lungshan Temple 龍山寺 was just outside an MRT station, and opposite a large park which seemed to be a gathering spot for Taiwan’s homeless. It was quite a large temple, quite open, and very busy. Definitely different to Cihui Temple 慈惠宮, in which everything was compacted into a small space. This one was much better maintained tho. Again, inside there were several shrines where you could offer incense, and various different looking idols. How do they choose which one to use?
