The award-winning Japanese Garden at Cowra is the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere. People can spend hours walking around in the 12 acres there. This is what I saw.
Lego set up a full sized forest at Martin Place! I guess these parts aren’t in recent Lego sets anymore, maybe the younger generations won’t know what they are or their significance.
We went down to Stanwell Park a few weeks ago. We ate at the palms cafe, which was quite nice but obviously priced for tourists. Down a bit further at the beach there were lots of surfers despite the cold, but the waves didn’t seem very big.
The old Helensburgh station and tunnel have been unused since the early 1900s. Now it is overgrown with vegetation and gives you a sense of what this planet will be like when we are no longer around.
A collection of photos taken around Sydney CBD over a past few months. What I would love to be able to do is to have access to different buildings and take photos from different vantage points. But given these days paranoia of various kinds that seems very unlikely.
